Terms and conditions

These terms cover use of mybrendon.com and orders placed with Brendon Ltd. They were last updated on 23 September 2026.

These are the terms of sale and website use for this shop. They are not a solicitor’s advice note. Nothing in them removes rights you have as a UK consumer that the law does not allow us to remove.

Who we are

The seller is Brendon Ltd, company number 02291340, VAT GB 515703563, trading as Brendon Powerwashers.

Using the website

You may use the site to look at machines and parts, search a serial number, ask for help, and place an order. You must not misuse the site, try to break into an account that is not yours, copy the site to run a competing service, or upload anything unlawful.

Accounts are for the person or business named on them. Keep your password private. Tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for orders placed from your account until you tell us it has been misused.

Serial search shows the machine record we hold for that number. It is a guide. If the record looks wrong, contact us before you order parts.

Orders

A product page is an invitation to order, not a binding offer. An order is accepted when we email you to confirm it, or when we dispatch it, whichever happens first. If we cannot supply an item, we will tell you and refund what you paid for that item.

Please check the machine, quantity, and delivery address before you pay. If you need to change an order, contact us straight away. We will help where the order has not already been packed or dispatched.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the currency for the region you select. Unless a page says a price includes VAT, machine and parts prices are excluding VAT. VAT is added at checkout where it applies to your account. Shipping is shown separately.

We may correct an obvious pricing mistake before the order is accepted, and we will give you the chance to cancel.

Card payments are taken by Dojo. Proforma orders are payable by bank transfer using the details on the proforma. The order is confirmed once we receive that payment. Approved trade accounts may be allowed to pay on account, up to the limit we set. We can refuse or withdraw account credit.

Delivery and collection

Delivery times on the site are estimates. Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us, or when you or your carrier collect them from us. Until we have been paid in full, we retain ownership of the goods.

Collection is from our head office at Brendon Powerwashers, Hillsmoor, Off Sandys Moor, Taunton Road, Wiveliscombe, Taunton, Somerset, TA4 2TU, unless we agree another place. Office hours are 9:00 AM – 5.00 PM, Monday – Friday.

If you are a consumer

If you are buying as a private individual, not for your trade, business, or profession, you have the rights in the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Goods must be as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality.

You may also have a 14-day cooling-off right to cancel a distance contract, starting the day after you receive the goods. That right does not apply to goods made to your specification, or goods that are sealed and not suitable for return once unsealed for health or hygiene reasons, where the law allows that exception. To cancel, email sales@powerwashers.co.uk or send us a message with your order number. You must return the goods, and you pay the return postage unless the goods are faulty or we agree otherwise. We refund the price and the standard delivery you paid, using the same payment method, within 14 days of receiving the goods back or of you showing they have been sent.

Faulty goods: contact us and we will repair, replace, or refund in line with your statutory rights.

Trade customers

If you buy for a business, or you apply for a trade account, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that business and that the details you give us are accurate. A trade application is not itself a grant of credit. Credit, pricing, and dashboard access start only when we approve them.

Business customers do not have the consumer cooling-off right. Faulty or incorrectly supplied goods should be reported as soon as you find the problem, and in any case promptly, so we can inspect them. We may repair, replace, or refund goods that are faulty or not what you ordered.

Trade-in, servicing, and second-hand

A trade-in form is an application, not an agreed purchase of your machine. Any offer we make will be in writing and may depend on inspecting the machine.

Service bookings are requests. We confirm the date with you. Second-hand listings describe the machine as stated on that listing. Ask us if you need a detail that is not on the page before you buy.

Liability

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability the law does not allow us to exclude.

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our failure to use reasonable care, or by our breaking this contract. We are not responsible for loss that we could not reasonably have expected, or for business losses if you are buying as a consumer.

If you are a business customer, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, or indirect loss. Our total liability for a claim about a product is limited to the price you paid us for that product, except where the law does not allow that limit.

The website itself

We try to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted. Drawings, manuals, and stock descriptions can change. We may suspend access if we need to for security or maintenance.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will hear disputes. If you are a consumer living in another part of the United Kingdom, you can also use the courts of the country where you live, where the law gives you that choice.

How we handle personal information is in the privacy policy.
